Founder / Artist / Piercer

Jack started learning the craft in 2008 and comes from Bakersfield, CA. He has 17 years of experience and once was co-owner of 7th Tradition Tattoo in Bakersfield. Recently moved from his last home in Tigard, OR. and transplanted to Waukee, IA. in February of 2023 where he started working in Waukee until November of 2025 to open Revival Tattoo Tattoo Studio.

Jack is driven by the love of the art of tattooing and working with many different peoples in every walk of life. He prides his self upon being flexible with all types of clientele and works hard to meet their needs and expectations. There are not many people with his drive and determination to succeed and create the most unique and healthy environment for the artists who he works with and the clients that walk through the door and continue to support Jacks ambitions to develop the best tattoo shop in Urbandale, IA. and in the Midwest.

As time goes by at Revival, Marie quickly gains experience training on artificial skin and the real thing. So if you want to get on the ground floor of being a client of a future power house in the tattoo world then now is the time. Artist

Ringo Pinion

From Ringo himself,

“I embarked on my journey as a tattoo artist in June of 2019. Before diving into the world of tattooing, I spent 25 years professionally working in the technology field, and along the way, I also ventured into the craft brewery business.

My passion for art has been with me since my early childhood. I remember getting my first tattoo in my early 30s, in the cozy setting of a living room.

Every day, I relish the incredible opportunity to pursue my artistic passion. I find immense joy in the entire process of collaborating with each of my clients, starting from the initial concept and working through to the finished tattoo.

People often inquire about my "style," but I don't confine myself to a particular one. I prefer to be versatile and well-rounded in my approach.

My primary focus is on continual growth and improvement in my craft.”

TJ

Artist

Hi everyone, my name is TJ!
I’m incredibly grateful and excited to be joining the team at Revival Tattoo Studio. A huge thank you to Jack and his crew for the warm welcome and for giving me this fantastic opportunity. I’m originally from Mason City, Iowa, but I’ve always loved the Des Moines area, so I’m truly excited to be able to have my foot in the door of this amazing community. This is my sixth year in my tattoo career but have been in the tattoo world pretty much my whole life and continue to grow my passion for the craft every day.

Outside of the studio, I enjoy spending time outdoors walking the trails with my pups, building Legos, painting, playing bingo, and having long conversations about music and art. Most importantly, I value quality time with my fiancé, family, and friends. I’m always sketching new ideas and looking for creative ways to give my clients unique and meaningful pieces.

Some of my favorite tattoo styles include:
Floral and botanical designs
Calligraphy
Geometric and mandala work
Insects and entomology-inspired pieces
Gemstones and micro-detail work
Ornamental designs

I put my heart and soul into the things I love—my relationships, my passions, and my career as an artist. I value honesty, creativity, and creating an experience where clients feel comfortable, confident and excited about their tattoos.
I love to laugh, connect with people, and bring amazing designs to life.
I’m honored to be part of a team that will continue to challenge and inspire me as I grow both personally and professionally in the art of tattooing.
If you’d like to follow along with my journey, please follow @revivaltattoostudio and my socials @tenaciousteeej to stay in tune with new pieces, updates, my schedule and pre-drawn designs!
